Integrations
The IBA doesn’t run the wind tunnels. It accredits the members flying in them and validates those members at check-in through whichever booking system the tunnel uses. Each booking-system integration has its own trust model, member-identity payload, and capabilities matrix.
Integrations covered
- FuzeMetrix — the booking system used by most non-USA tunnels. Member validation, member data, logbook entry creation, currency status reporting.
Integrations not yet documented in /business-logic/
- Convergence — the most tightly-integrated of the booking systems, used by IBA-affiliated USA tunnels. Goes beyond simple validation to cover member-specific pricing and booking-driven logbook entries. Domain overview at /overview/convergence; the behavioural rules page under this zone is still to be written.
- Tunn3l — a newer booking system coming online for some IBA-affiliated tunnels. Domain overview at /overview/tunn3l; the behavioural rules page will land here once the integration ships.
If you’re adding a new integration, place it under
docs/app/business-logic/integrations/<slug>/ and follow the same
shape: an index page covering the trust model, then sub-pages for any
flow-specific or contract-level detail.
